Any interest in a trip to Crozet next weekend? The weather looks good; low chance of rain and lows in the mid 40s.

Just how gnarly is Crozet? From what ive heard if youre not looking for extreme type wheeling there isnt much for you.

I think a bunch of the guys from Shanadoah Valley Wheelers are going up un Sunday. I thought about maybe joining them. I think the whole weekend is open. I need to make sure I can secure a kitchen pass. I've been spending a lot of time lately in the shop.....getting it ready for inspection...

I see a plan coming together ...

I'm hoping to get there in the late afternoon on Friday.

Since here a plan is coming together, I will chime in. I should be in for Saturday only. Not planning on camping. The direction is provided in the following thread link: http://forums.xjsrule.com/viewtopic.php?t=157. However, I would like to know if there's a meeting place and possibly a cell number. I have never been to Crozet and a common meeting place would be great.

John and I went today

what a miserable day it was

rainy and wet, windy, s***ty

OH Yeh just like every time I have been to CROZET

I guess that isn,t true

Big thanks to Jeremy for the use of his Stick Welder for fixing John,s drive-shaft

this is Great John snapps his driveshaft in two, in the middle of the tube.

he didnt twist it , it broke almost like someone had cut it with a can opener.

no worries a piece of 1.5" angle two long bolts laying long ways and a cut off piece of U-bolt and 12 welding rods later I fixed it. and I runs true.

I wonder how Rob made out on his fishing trip? He was probably hanging off the side of the boat puking....

Rain, Rain and more Rain here. Glad I didn't piss of the wife and make the trip today. I was able to do some more work in the garage.

How true!! I puucked twice but was fine after each puuck. We cought out limit within the first two hours then continued to catch fish till 11 am. I drizzeled for only 15 min while we were fishing. We caught over 100 nice fish, one right after the other. The 10 foot seas on the way back in was intresting. It took about 1 1/2 hours to get back in. All and all it was a good day, we caught fish!! I will be cooking rock fish for dinner tonight.

Rob

By the way how do you spell pewuked??
