I have been buying Craftsman tools over the years and I have broken socket , and screw drivers and had no issue taking them back in the past and getting a replacement. Last weekend my 3/8in Inpound torque wrench stopped working correctly. The lock on the handle will not set. Wrench is two to three years old. I am the orginal owner. I went back to Sears to get another one and was told that a torque wrech was not a handtool and it was only covered buy a one year warranty. I was also told I needed a receipt. The women at the Sears had a voice that made nails on a calk board sound nice too. What made it funny was a short distance away a promo was playing on a TV for Craftsman tools and the announcer said "Try out our impressive line of handtools, socket, rachets, wrenches and torque wrenchs".

Long story short Lowe's sells Torque Wrenchs and they come with a no questions life time warranty. Guess where I am starting to buy tools from now.
