hey everybody,

so as i begin to continue the next part of my restoration for my 99 LX470, i am also budgeting to have to buy new tires soon. so here's the back story:

i got an INSANELY good deal on a set of wheels from an 06 LX470 at the end of last summer that had michelin defenders that were severely worn. i ended up getting a used set of defenders that ultimately got worn down as well, and will likely only have 2 months of use left before colorado's unpredictable weather begins to hit. i am trying to decide which brand of all terrainers to get, whether they're KO3's or Falkens or Maxxis Razrs, and i also see a good deal for some trd pro 18 inch tundra wheels near me in Denver for $300 or OBO on marketplace that are in relatively good condition. im tryna debate on if they're worth the money or if i should just plasti dip the wheels. could y'all give me some suggestions? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

also, i saw a good deal for some 06-07 running boards, and i assume they will fit my 99, but i know they have lights, and i was wondering if they were plug and play

I'm also needing to buy a set of tires before fall, i've got my eye on Ko2 and Ko3, just because i know you can't really go wrong with them. I think around labor day a lot of the tire places will have sales, so i'm just keeping my eye on prices and hoping for a decent sale

thanks for replying man! i think i will keep an eye on it at that time, too! a lot of people are saying the ko3s are an improvement, though. i am also condering maxxis razrs and cooper strongholds as well
