please guys, help me figure out where i went with my 89 corolla 4af (carbied) daily.
long story short, head gasket was toast, coolant getting into piston 1. pulled the head, had it crack/pressure tested, skimmed, and got a gasket kit and new head bolts.
assembled as per gregories manual, torquing the head studs as per instructions, in 3 passes,
timed the cams as per gregories, set the ignition timing as per gregories, and the engine pulled healthily. did about 200 miles, and lo and behold coolant is getting into cylinder 3 (spark plug tip was also bent
)
what have i done wrong?
