Uphill for filling with both heaters hot? ....assuming if valve is to cold you are not filling heater cores? did you sweeze hoses in back to check for air?

my 60 use to be a pain to get air out and I would park it with the passengers side nose up and bounce on the bumper while topping off.

i flushed and filled on level ground before i read about the incline trick. I have since had it on ramps and opened up the rad., the top radiator tube, and the rear heater hose each with no effect. ( each was full when opened as well ) Now it has sat for a day and a half on ramps and took for a short bouncy ride but still shows full.

what is the squeeze test. it should be firm w/ engine running and heater on??? soft would indicate air? or is this just to try and force air through the system?
