Greetings O' exalted ones of the CLCC.

I have a possible opportunity to obtain some free tickets to a concert I will be performing (see below). If any of you are interested, let me know so I can tell the secretary how many I will need and see whether they are available.


March 7
Sweet Bolling Suite: Chamber Music Series
Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. Recital Room
Subscription Series: Season Tickets $25; Event Tickets $10.
Classical guitar and music by Claude Bolling is performed by Belhaven’s premiere faculty guitarist Barry Hause and flutist Sybil Cheesman. The hybrid style of Bolling where classical guitar and flute meet the jazz piano trio will captivate and energize listeners of both styles of music. Doors open at 7 p.m. Ticket holders should be seated by7:20p.m. Do not call the box office for these tickets; they can be reserved by calling 601-974-6494.

reasons to come:

1) to hear some really cool music
2) you'll allready be out for the mtg. the Belhaven campus is only a short cruiser crawl away from Lakeland drive.
3) support Me!:)
4) display all your cool trucks in the center for the arts parking lot:cool:
5) free tickets: limited amount--1st come, 1st serve.
6) I'm sure more reasons will occur to me......
7) test out your trucks in the mud pit behind the new arts building.

How many tickets can you get? What if we moved the meeting and told everyone to show up? 15 or so folks ok?
 
Have I missed something....already at the meeting???

I thought we just had a meeting this Tuesday.

Still sounds fun & maybe if the wifes off we will make it.

cruiserheads and culture

I'm afraid I was only able to get 6 free tickets. Sani has reserved 2. 4 tickets are still up for grabs. This is gonna be good. jazz piano, drums and bass + flute and classical guitar. It's a real energetic piece. I'll be playing some hot solos too.

Is Sybil Bob's wife? I used to play trumpet and studied under Wayne Linehan and I believe my father played with Cheesman back in the day.

Cool! Gotta love Jackson. Everyones related or knows somebody. I've never met Sybils husband so I'm not sure. Do you have a kid in the Veritas school? I see a blue 62 in the line over there on Friday's. Your's is a 60 though, right?

Just give me your last name and I'll reserve 2 at the door for you.

Thanks, Barry. I have a blue 60. As far as I know, I have no kids at the Veritas school ;). I did hear that I had a 4th grader at St. Andrew's, though. Still waiting for that tuition bill in the mail.

What a great show. We were completely awed by your performance and the inclusion of the flute, bass, drums and piano. I wasn't very familiar with classical guitar before- WOW. It made me want to pick up my horn again and get back to annoying the neighbors!

I'm so pissed I missed it. Went home, layed on my couch and woke up at midnight!!:frown:
