Fine by me!

Looked at our coupons, and we (Anna and myself) need to use them by Mid-November. Just a little FYI on getting this thing together.

What gun ya got there, Jordan?

Anna and I will be doing the Conceal Carry Permit class at Range USA on Saturday, September 24 from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Sorry for the short notice. Our calendar has filled up quickly, and this was one of the few times we could do it before our coupons expire.

You're welcome to join!

Scratch that. Anna has work that Saturday.

We're signed up for October 1st, now. Any takers?

How'd the class go for ya? Who was your instructor?

Had a great time!

Chip Holland was the instructor. I'm not sure that we had a choice, but that's who came recommended to us by at least Mark. Maybe others as well.

My brother returns not this Thursday but next from several years overseas with the ARMY. I've been looking forward to this for a long time. I tell you all that because he and Anna have set a date to go gun shopping. Well, really, we're humoring him, because ultimately Anna needs to decide what she likes. We don't have money to put into arms, so we'll have time to make a well-informed decision when the time comes.Lots of rentals at the range :D

Spent 10 hours solid at the range, but it really went by fast.

Remember you have now taken the first step...now you have to become a gun fighter!

Just a piece o' paper at this point. I don't even have the license :hillbilly:

Baby steps. I think this is something Anna and I can both do and enjoy while progressing at whatever rate we'd individually like.

Chip is a great instructor. Next step is to get the gun you want, and figure out where/how to carry it. Then take the Handgun Self Defense class so you can become comfortable with your firearm. I really developed a lot through their classes, and you and Anna will too. Have fun while doing it!

See, that is where I disagree.

My next step is to complete the paperwork necessary to get the actual license :flipoff2:

I've decided instead of doing any more classes, I'll just go to Orange Mound at night and see what happens :meh:

Trial by fire...
