I have decided to do a mild lift on my bone stock 1988 FJ62. We figure when done it will be up about 1.5". I'm scouting around for some 31's and 32's to try out, however I'm wondering about the compatability of some of the 16" rims from newer Tacomas etc. Are they also 6-5.5" and similar back spacing? Our thinking is do the mild lift on the truck and maybe get a little clearance under the dif with a slightly bigger rim. I seem to have a plethera of these 16" factory rims in the area, just wondering if and how well they match. Any and all assistance is appreciated.
