The Forest Service has extended the public comment period on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Oregon Dunes NRA Management Area 10c Designated Routes Project an additional 45 days following a request from the Board of Commissioners for Coos, Douglas and Lane counties. The comment period will now end on January 24, 2013. BRC believes this extension is critically important, and will allow the affected counties to place this issue on their agenda.
