I've been thinking about these Diode Dynamics 2" combo pod lights for supplemental lighting on my Prado:
DD SSC2 pods
Currently have 7" round halogen lamps which are fine for most of my driving, and I am not switching to LED. I could use supplemental lighting, both fog/wide-angle and some extra throw. I have very limited space for my ideal mounting, hence these tiny ones.
I used some DD DOT legal fogs and they were fantastic. But my concern is whether these combo lenses dilute light thrown, make a mess of lighting, are a waste? Looking to optimize my visibility and safety, not looking to send light beams to the Intl Space Station or light up a football field.
Appreciate any experiences or comments!
