So my buddy who was suppose to go and help us move to CO has backed out (pretty s***ty, I know) and now we are looking for someone to help us. The plan is to leave Friday July 31st early (9am-ish) and drive to Wichita. Stay there and then drive to CO Springs the next day. We'll move everything in our house Saturday upon arrival and while the girls unpack we'll go drive around or whatever Lastly, you'd fly out on Sunday.
Everything will be paid for by us (hotel, food, etc..) EXCEPT the plane ticket back which will be $100 b/c our friend that is also coming works for United. At this point we really need the help so we'd offer to pay for part of the plane ticket.
There will be moving and heavy lifting involved but I'm pretty sure if I can do it most of you guys can too lol.
Just let me know if anyone is interested. You would obviously have to take Friday off and I know that's short notice for some of you guys. Text or call me if you want more details.
CO Springs is an hour south of Denver. Little bit of a drive. Worst case scenario we pay a moving company to help move us in. I don't think it would cost much since it's just the need of manual labor and not using their moving truck.
Well guys, we made it! Got here yesterday about 4pm. I never want to drive a moving truck again. Let alone drive one pulling a truck. How miserable and nerve wracking. The car hauler ended up blowing a tire an hour before our final destination. Had to wait for roadside assistance for a couple hours.
All is well though. Stressful going from a nice spacious 2 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom studio. Still unpacking boxes trying to find out where to put s***.
You can see the mountains from our front door and had a big doe eating grass in our driveway this morning. We're loving this place.
Lastly, you'd fly out on Sunday.
