This is the first time I’ve not been able to sit my ahc . The system seems to level when driving but it won’t go up or down. I used techstream to get the code c1776 wheel speed sensor so I checked the the sensors while driving and all is ok they read the same , anyone come accross this before

Just in case others find this thread my issue turned out to be that my front height sensors were too high and something about placing the vehicle in HI would trip this code not neutral or lo after clearing it with techstream. Lowered my sensors down quite a bit and rechecked everything with the yotamd ahc guide. All good now.

Any chance you've done the mod that removes the speed limitations for Hi mode in AHC? There's a whole thread about it. It lets you run in HI at greater than 20mph without it automatically going back to N. Anyway, cutting a speed sensor wire is part of that mod. I regret doing it because now I get that same C1776 code about once every two weeks or so and AHC stops working.

I just clear the code with an OBD app on my phone at the AHC begins working again immediately... until the code comes back a couple weeks later. My speed sensors are just fine.

No, mine still raises and lowers based on vehicle speed and like OP my wheel speed numbers were matching and correct when monitored by TS and driving. I recently replaced the front sensors and I must not have tightened them down enough and after taking a few hard slams driving / off-roading my front sensors were basically sensor lifted while the rear was normal. So I had almost a 2" lift in 'N' on the front causing the front to be higher than the rear (which is what initially made me notice and then i realized the truck would refuse to do hi or lo until I cleared the C1776). I recalibrated the height sensors with techstream and everything is working like a gem now. Not sure exactly why the front end raises causes this to trip wondering if its not an entirely accurate code as noted also by OP.

Edit: still an intermittent issue for me even after adjusting height sensors
