Hello all :) I am a proud new owner of a CND M101 trailer. I am looking for the militery tail lights for it and how do I switch them over to 12v. Is it as simple as switching out the 24v light bulb with a 12v one? I will be doing a tail gate mod soon, but that will be another thread ;) Thanks for the help :D

Check out Saturn Surplus for a set of lights NOS with a plastic housing . As for the 24v to 12v its just a bulb swap .

congrads your trailer

Just got finished ordering them from Saturn Surplus :bounce: As soon as I get the trailer register I'll start fixing it up. Is there a adapter out there that will go from 7 pin to 4 pin for my trailer hook up. I have seen where people have spliced there 4 pins into the trailer harness but I'm not to fired up about that.

All you need to do is pickup some bullet connectors and plug your trailer side harness into the flat 4 style harness . when you get your lights you'll see that the milspec conn. are just bullet conn with a hard rubber cover.

I finally got my tail lights in and started to put them on today. I am using my factory trailer harness (in good shape) and I have changed out the 24v bulbs to with 12v ones (1156 and 67 bulbs). I am using my 4 pin with bullet connectors to the military harness. I have everything hooked up right, but I can get any of the lights to work. I have checked all the connections with a test light and all the connections are working, but no lights. here is how my wiring is set up:

Brown wire to 21 (running/parking/service lights)
Green wire to 22-460 (right turn)
Yellow wire to 22-461 (left turn)
White wire to ground on trailer

When I ground my test light to a bolt on the back of the trailer and touch it to the bolt that is used to ground the light housing I am getting power throe there. I don't have a ohm meter just my test light. I have pulled the light housing apart looking to see if there is a short somewhere, there is none. Any one with any ideas??? I have tried to unplug everything and leave just the left turn signal on to see if I can just get that light to work, but nothing.

HELP!!!!

I would like to see a pic of your harness with these bullet connectors? Would like to use my factory 7 pin and plug into a 4 if at possible

Clean your grounds up .
if your test light is lighting from the light ground to the trailer ground then the grounds are not clean .
