A group of Club members will be heading out Saturday morning August 29, 2020 to run Schofield Pass to the north of Crested Butte. We will meet 8am Saturday morning at the Grand Junction 24 Road City Market (near fuel pumps) to group up and head out. Camping will be in the Schofield Park, Emerald Lake or Paradise Divide area. Campfires are prohibited Statewide but plan accordingly for dinner and breakfast as propane stoves are still good to use.
There is an awesome little known swimming hole with a nice waterfall in the Schofield Park area so bring a swimsuit if you desire. Camping elevation will be at about 11,500-12,000 ft in elevation. We'll return home on Sunday via Kebler Pass.
