Warren,

If you're serious about another set of 60 wheels I can hook you up. I think they even have almost new tires on them too. 5 wheels 4 tires new/ one unused stock spare.

I agree Bret, it looks like its decent. i'd like a 60 but if i had the money rather throw 3500 at one in better shape. my.02.

I'm kicking myself for not immediately getting that one on Craigslist (see post a few down) that JimC tried to get. It looked to be in a lot better shape..and was only $500.

I didn't need it, but I realize now I could have parted it for more than that.

I need to read up on the 60 power steering conversion for a 40...I have started getting some mini stuff, but if the opportunity arose....

For sure I have now gone the way of "buy a nice truck and spend the money up front". Time is always my limiting factor, so I have learned not to bring any more "projects" home. Or at least really really big projects.

The last club vehicle barely worked out.

Jim C. busted his behind to make it right.

If everybody was unemployed and had poor family values I think it
would work out great

Oh tay, Guess that was a bad Idea. Sorry.

What's the purpose to raise cash for the club? I like your idea Warren and the intentions are good. Taking on a project truck is a PITA though. Maybe some merchandise like hats or Ts might work?

I'm game for about anything but working on a truck:grinpimp:

No worries, I was not coming off harsh. I just don't want to see you stuck
with getting a truck done and sold.

I guess the purpose was getting a truck for 500 bucks, Not rebuilding it but taking parts that people might need and selling them off, Like the first post I put up, Just to part it out. Once its a hull, whomever tows it to the scrap yard keeps the cash for gas money and storage fee.

Not the intention to have this sit in someones garage for years while everyone works on it. If some guys in the club wanted to go in together to part it that was the idea, Not that club funds would be used to buy it and so on. Hell I still have not contributed to any club dues.

The idea was a lot better in my head than I am really explaining it here.

I bought it!

guys,
Don't worry about making it a club project. I bought it and am going to use it as an organ donor. The frame is shot, and body was bondo-ed and painted a few years ago. Starting to look like crap again.:frown:

And the engine has a rod knocking.

More Cruiser crap...
