Just tell me what you would prefer by the poll....and then add to the thread to tell me how many you would be good for either way so I can get an idea of whether it is economical for a low quantity.... Once we decide on type then will work out branding for SFLC...

There should be a "both" option. I choose both.

I need one and the lady needs one!!! Don't want her cold

Well if I had to chose only only one then it would be the fleece. I am not sure if I would would only want a vest, even though, I would like one. A full fleece jacket would suit me better.

Please no vest id never wear it then...

I like the idea of the fleece, not that I need another one, but it is something I could wear more often even at work than a hoodie.
The LL Bean one is nice.
An idea for getting a bunch at a good price (but is a little hit or miss) is running up to the Columbia outlet in Myrtle Beach. I know... who would want to drive all the way up there, but the prices they have on stuff is really good.
Also, unless you already have someone, I can have them embroidered at Charleston Angler where I get my stuff done. Maybe I can get them to wave the digitizing fee as they owe me and the cost per jacket would be in the neighborhood of $5-7 each unless you want something larger and more complicated.
Happy to help out any way I can.

I have sent the logo to three of my vendors. I will report back when I get estimates. One of them is the Charleston Angler.
I pay roughly $40 For the fleece jackets that I provide for my employees with extensive thread count. The fleeces are economy quality.

I have received a quote form one of my suppliers.:

"One time set up for embroidery is $75.00. If you brought 10 jackets -
depending on the stitch count - up to 7,000 stitches you are looking at
$8.00 each."

Let me check with my brother on how much he would charge for some fleece jackets. I got some heavy Devon & Jones Fleece Jackets with HONEYWELL embroidered on left chest pocket from him that were not too bad. I dont think I would want "economy" jackets that you would issue employees for wearing inside a shop or such...since they are intended to be used outdoors in cool or cold weather.

I don't want economy either. They are actually made by Columbia.
I was just throwing some numbers out.

Good deal....

I am checking with brother to see what he can do and also about the embroidery....and he does not care if I take work to someone else especially the small orders like this. I think last ones I had him do were about $20-25 each for heavyweight fleece jacket and embroidery....

I will let you know cost of fleece and embroidery when I find out....

Columbia Steens Mountain Jacket 360 grams 100%polyester MTR plus digitizing and artwork to clean up our design and make something that will transfer and look good (our design is a bit too busy for embroidery to be recognizable and not cluttered)......will end up making the fleece full zip jackets about $38 each if we only by 12 total.

Devon and Jones fleece with same weight and basic style would be a little cheaper but since a couple of you mentioned Columbia already I wanted to compare apples to apples.

My brother is convinced some artwork will be required to clean up what we have to make it more simple or in developing something that transfers better so his digitizing and artwork is going to be $125.....and the Columbia jackets he gets for $23 each....in case you wanted to see the breakdown. That is cost....plus sales tax.

Suggested retail for this EXACT jacket with no embroidery is $50 online and is on SALE now at Backcountry.com for $35. So that price is pretty good since it includes the stitching as well.

Hopefully one of you can get it for less money....as he does not care if we shop it around and go to someone else...plus I can still beat him up. :)

I can get the artwork very close to the logo but more clean and legible. Unless, you just want it changed up.

Also, is there a specific color? Reason why is I may find my own fleece and throw it in the group that being embroidered.
Should we all get the same color?

usually easier to get all same color....I am thinking of a sage green or tannish-brown...but if you do the order you can get whatever you want. LOL What color you want? Maybe we will all like it unless it is some gay pink or orange colors. :)

Man, whoever took that pic in your avatar deserves a thank you because it is awesome.

I think any earthy color is good. Start a poll. Brown, green, navy, black, grey
