When I use 'auto' on the climate control, the AC automatically turns on (go figure). Is there any way to program this so that when 'auto' is engaged, the AC does not turn on?

I live in a climate where I need heat nine times out of ten (yes, year around).

Hey sfo1, like many high end vehicles this is very normal. The AC is not running like most AC's in vehicles do. So don't worry, you're not running cool air when the heat is on. Anytime you turn off the climate control it will just prompt the screen text no matter what. By the way, I live in the North Bay, not may LC 200's around. If you want to get yours lifted, I suggest Mudracks in Sonoma. They only work on Cruisers.
