So the first time the passenger up down worked but not driver. Resetting battery took all temps to 75 but the driver side still would not change. The 4 zone button won't turn off (stays green) on the touch screen. After a while, the system just started working again. The second time, it only happened for about 10 minutes, and was being finicky (worked for a couple up downs but then froze). Using my Carista (which puts the touchscreen in service mode) I reset the nav and it all worked fine. I've not cleaned the CD so we will see.
I'm thinking:
1) Loose harness (or bad harness)
2) Bad Nav DVD (or bad Nav DVD reader which would be no bueno as it is a discontinued part)
3) Bad Nav System (like a $8900 part-which is why I may trade in a truck I otherwise love). I may try one of the aftermarket units if I keep having trouble.
I was headed home after visiting family 500+miles away in winter when this happened, and drove on a full tank in a very cold LC.@40Man did you resolve this? I am experiencing these issues this morning.
