Don't forget to bring cash if you owe dues. I've updated the current roster and will have copies available tonight. Oh, and if you can find your TLCA numbers I'll add those in.

Good meeting last night; there were seven of us at Bristol and then twelve at the meeting.

Nice to see Vic again--a club Founding Members whom I have not seen since Texas Creek trail ride a year +/- ago. Thanks for coming out, Vic, and giving perspective to the club's history on several topics.

Two new members were present, also. Tom and Scooter joined CLC last night.

Here is the summary of the May 17, 2016 meeting:

Attendees: Greg, Tracy, Todd, Scooter, JB, Cody, Andrew, Kyle, Ryan, Malcolm, Tom, Vic

Old business:

- Chapter in Good Standing updated/current with TLCA

- Club address updated/current with TLCA

- Andrew has the f-book account and has been posting weekly. Members are encouraged to post stuff there to keep it current

- The CLC webpage is still not updated. Needs to be revised a single-page "landing pad" to redirect to clubhouse site on IH8Mud.

- The May 14th, 2016 trail ride (Medano Pass) was postponed due to seasonal closure. Instead, the club attempted FS 379 (Mount Baldy). Malcolm provided the trail report.

- JB (Spadone) created a Meet-Up page for Colorado Land Cruisers. URL= Colorado Land Cruisers. JB gave an update, indicating 14 have joined the meet-up group (four are actual CLC members).

- May 14th was the annual meeting for the Colorado Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs (hightrails.org). No CLC members attended. (JB, send me a PM if this is incorrect).

New business:

- We had a lengthy discussion on whether CLC should remain a member club of Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs (hightrails.org). No vote initiated--President wants each CLC member to research the Colorado Association, and hold a vote in June.

- President will engage Webmaster regarding CLC webpage revision.

- JB talked to Brandon at Classic Cruisers (Salida, CO), and Rising Sun 4x4 Club about a joint "clean up" day or weekend in Salida. The intent is a voluntary effort to assist Classic Cruisers to organize, clean up, and secure their Cruiser bone yard. This proposed action is consistent with the club bylaws (Article II, Purpose) as it is a social event, and contributes to the preservation of the Land Cruiser heritage. Date TBD.

- CLC club cards were distributed for the purpose of inviting Toyota owners to CLC.

-JB proposed CLC Member Cards, and brought example.

- Tracy will lead the committee for a summer BBQ in July, date TBD. Sam offered to host on a Saturday in July at his place in Black Forest (thank you, Sam!). Committee is Tracy, Sam, Todd, and JB. Details to be presented in June meeting.

- Proposed that at the June meeting, Leon provides an overview of HAM radio--capabilities, advantages over other radios, etc. (an information and practical demonstration event, but not a preparation for FCC licensure). Tracy to follow up with Leon.

- Andrew will start a thread in clubhouse for purpose of hanging pictures, and Andrew will subsequently post on the club f-book page.

- Discussed adopting (officially or unofficially) FS 379 (Mount Baldy) for a club trail maintenance/clean up event. Tracy will follow up with USFS and/or Colorado Assn of 4WD Clubs to determine if we are presently "sponsors".

Next Trail Ride: Saturday, June 18th, Medano Pass.

Next club meeting: 7pm on Tuesday, June 21st , at LHM Toyota on the southside.
