Probably not going to make it - have family coming in for graduation

Malcolm texted me and indicated that he will be there, too.

Great meeting, with 14 persons including two new visitors/members attending tonight.

We got new club stickers; unfortunately, there is a typo on them; Josh is going to work that out.

We also bought some small (3" oval) stickers labeled with trail names of the trails we have on our 2017 schedule (Shubarth, The Gulches, Texas Creek, Phantom Canyon, etc.) These will be for sale to club members starting next month meeting (June). Cost will likely be $4.

JB and Pops gave a summary of Cruise Moab.

I gave a summary of Overland Expo.

Sam is hosting a summer BBQ at his place, specific date is yet TBD. Probably late in July.

We made a motion, and voted "yes", that the club pay the dues to remain a member of the Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs, and that we use proceeds/profit from sale of club stickers ($5), trail stickers ($4), and new tee-shirts (to be made) to cover the dues.

Ryan obtained the "password" for the club webpage, and JB has taken on the job to update the website as a simple "landing pad" to redirect viewers to the IH8MUD clubhouse page.

JB and Tracy are going to re-institute a club newsletter; it will be produced as a one-page "here's what's coming in the next three months". Likely will be done in PDF format and e-mailed to members, and possibly hung on the updated webpage.

Next trail ride is Saturday, May 20th, and the destination is Medano Pass. Tracy will post a "trail ride thread" in the forum. Need to determine whether to use the south entrance or the north entrance. This can be a group overnight/camping trip for those who want to camp.

June has two trail events--Saturday, June 10th is the Reynolds Wrap (Saran Wrap) trail clean up. We plan to run up Mount Baldy, too.

June 24th is an "open" date; we suggested several trails as options, but need to have an online poll/vote.

Bummer. Medrano Primitive Road is still closed at the North entrance.

I wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcome last night, we had a great time! Look forward to meeting the rest of the group and hopefully get more involved. Nice to finally find some like-minded Cruiser folks in the Springs!
