Clarks Fork 4/15/06

Here is a link to the pics of my Sunday trip with the FJ, it was some rough and rocky terrain. Check out the river crossing the white Jeep follo wed me and had an air cleaner full of water.

Clarks Fork

The FJ and the Jeeps wheeled the same, they were running 31's and had Limited slip rear and locker front. In the sand they had to get a run to make the hill the FJ climbed with no problem. In the water the jeeps struggled but made it through again the FJ had no problem.

The Clarks fork is just a few miles from Cody Wyoming, I am from Billings MT so we headed through Bridger Montana towards Cody. The Clarks Fork trail leads to the Morrison Jeep trail which is pretty awesome, you have to drive up switchbacks to get to the top. Across the top you come out near Cooke City that is an incredible journey not for the faint of heart.
The pictures don't do justice to the boulders and the angles but they did turn out well.

They added morer pictures, the last few of the mountainside have moutain goats if you have high speed internet you can click on the full size view like 3200 x 3200 and see the close up of the mountain goats or any of the pics. Some beautiful shots.

Damn, was just in Cody two weeks ago. But couldn't get my FJ until I got back. Awesome country you are in.

Yes it is stock but it did great even with the factory tires.

Would love to go wheeling in the Paridise Valley sometime what color FJ do you have and where did you buy it from?

beautiful country.i was in yellowstone last october and i just love that part of our country.wish i didn't live 1500 miles away.great pics dude.
