Has anyone ever removed the chrome piece on the lower parts of the door? Is it easy to do? I'm looking at potentially getting a different set of rims and not sure how I would like the chrome on there with black or grey rims...

Can't speak for this specific truck but on other cars I've had that is just a giant 3M piece of tape behind it so get it nice and hot with a hair dryer and peel it off. Looking at all the other trim levels that don't have it, it must just be a stuck on bit. I'd peel it off. If you're nervous wait until getting it detailed and have your detailer remove it--they'll have all the trim tools and things to get rid of it without a fuss
Ive seen it done on another forum. There aren't any locating holes but it seems a bit more difficult than a small emblem.
