Sara makes homemade pizza on Christmas eve, her family has done that forever.
We've been going to the same tree farm in Springfield for a few years now. See Santa there, drink hot chocolate, take a hay ride. Pics from this year....
We've been buying the yearly Danforth Pewter ornament every year for Jack since he was born. He gets to put them on the tree himself.
Then it's just the usual... up early, stockings, breakfast, presents. Clean up. My mom and sisters come over in the afternoon for presents and a big dinner, usually roast beef.
Sara and I both have the week between Christmas and New Year's off so it's a nice family vacation.

Stringing pop corn and cranberrys for the tree.
It may sound kinda lame but we buy a potted blue sprice or a redwood tree. On Chrismas day we plant it.
This is the season to walk to the local dinner and have breakfast every Sunday, have a special meal every weekend, my woman knits, I build a new computer, and the kids (not so much kids anymore) watch Christmas Story over and over again.
Christmas Eve is stories by the fire, and in Christmas morning, after presents are opened, a big hispanic breakfast cooked by yours truly.

My wife lights these candles for 8 nights. Not sure what thats all about but I'm sure Christmas has nothing to do with it 
I on the other hand have an annual Christmas tradition of bringing all of my waste oil to the dump since its the only week that I get off and the dump is actually open.

Trip to the dump, very festive! : )
i may have to adopt that tradition I have 30 gallons of oil in my bacement and it keeps on adding up

not a bad idea except about half of it is mixed with 80-90 dif. fluid might kill the pump trying to push that stuff threw
My daughter started a new tradition.................invited one of her friends from out of state to our house for the week............ 
Get a smudge pot oil burner. It will burn anything.
