Choccolocco Mountain, 2056 Pelham RD S, Jacksonville, AL 36265
There is some great riding here, I have been riding this mountain for years and it is just now open to the public. From mild to wild and everything in between. The web site has just been created so it doesnt do the place justice but if you are looking for somewhere to go wheel this place is nice. It puts Morris Mountain and Greyrock park to shame and yes i have been to both numerous times. This place has the scenary of Tellico and trails even tougher. An the best part is you are only 2 minutes from a college town full of restaurants and anything else you may need.
It is 10min from the Chief Ladiga bike trail which runs for miles and miles all the way to the georgia state line. It is also 20 min from the pinhoti trail which runs from Alabama to Maine through several diffrent national forests.
