Hey all - new here. I’m picking up a 2021 LC Heritage and I want to keep the seats free from some of the indentations and muck that car seats can provide. I used Lasso protectors in my 4Runner, but the SofTex is a completely different set up than the pristine TLC’s leather surface. Does anyone have a preferred car seat protector they’ve used on the LC200?

I have a couple of car seats installed over fairly basic Brica brand car seat protectors for the rear seats. They work well for protecting against muck but some indentation is inevitable if you’ve got them secured nice and snug. I also use WeatherTech seat back protectors on the front seats, which both fit and work very well.

I thought about splashing out for Escape Gear seat covers, but as someone else here said well, this car isn’t going to a museum when I’m done with it.

Escape Gear seat covers. They've got velcro fabric slots in the rear seat cover fabric to access the LATCH anchors.

As a big bad rad dad, I should let you know that there are very strict rules/guidelines as to what is acceptable to use under car seats. Each manufacturer will have approved items; however, towels and pool noodles are usually not on the list - not even generic seat covers. I believe it comes down to the specific items that are used/approved during the crash testing.
That being said, I used these for a while, but have since stopped because they don’t really do much for us. All of my seat indentations rebounded, and my kids don’t drink sticky liquids in the car.

(I also have the Clek Thingy in my wife’s car, but we have cleks (approved))

Edit: came back to say that the Thingy is rubber and doesn’t allow the seat to slide around on it. Other covers could add additional slip factors.

I'd just grin and bare it. To me, it's not worth the small possibility of extra motion/deflection/inappropriate seat movement during any sort of crash for my kids. Yes, there will be indentations for sure when they're removed, but once you clean the seat well and give it time and high cabin temps, the amount of deformation should be significantly less than immediately after the seats being removed.

I usually do this to save indentations: always leave the seats connected to anchor and latch points, but undo the main part of the seat that tightens it. When the kids get in it’s a 2 second job to snap the seat back down snug.

I ordered them through Equipt, so I don't know. They had me send in pictures of all the seats and coordinated with Escape Gear to get the right covers ordered.

I ended up getting a pet cover. Downside is you can’t use the LATCH Anchors, but it does a great job protecting seats from seat indents and food.

I’d also recommend no shoes in the car for kiddos - the car seats end up very close to the front seats and prime targets for kids’ feet in front facing configuration.

Pretty sure it’s VX.

I ordered a full set from Equipt and should have them in a week or two. Escape Gear requires photos of the seats from different angles.

I also have the above car seat protector with the lion logo stamped on it - Amazon purchase and it’s been perfect.
