i posted something similar in the regular fj80 section and some good samaritan directed me here i need to have a shop look at my rig...some issues i need taken care of as this is my wifes primary rig.

I'm vibrating bad at around 40miles and it got really pronounced tonite after digging and driving in the blizzard we just went through in chicago.

Btw. i do have spacers ant it has vibrated in the past, just not this bad and i check all the lugs, they are tight i do need new steering stabilizers though. so anyone please recommend a good brand.

Plus im losing small amounts of coolants and...well just bugs here and there.

Why would you have spacers on a DD 94 80 series?

Could very well be that you have ice and snow packed up in your wheels causing your vibration to worsen.

Don't know of any shops. I'm kinda burned out on side work at the moment.

Actually for the last couple of years.

Bad stabilizers can cause wobble (just get one from your local parts store, or go beilstein) not usually vibration. Check u-joints first, then wheel bearings.

Local "shops" are a bad joke IMO.

The only shop id trust to work on my s*** is TNT4X4 in marseilles IL @ the cliffs.

gumby, thx for chiming in, as for the spacer ..yes i agree it'll worsen sometimes symptoms that are already in place(tired bearings) but i did it for the stance plus to widen the track just until i use up the tire thread then my intention is to buy wider wheels.

I get you being tired and all...but if you could help,i'd aprreciate it and would pay for the time...im not dodging having to part with $$, my concern is finding someone that'll do a trustworthy job. being new to illinois and working all the time, i havent taken time out to get to sniff out places that'll do good work without bending you over....i do work on her myself and can tackle some jobs with proper directions.

4rnr thanx for the input, i'll look into that shop.
