Some conduit, some type of bender, bolts and some chain. Probably not worth the effort for that price

I've got a couple of those workstand that you mention from HF and they are ok for what they cost. I've used the for working on the doors and they hold up fine.

I use two sawhorses and an old door. The best are flat surfaced solid core doors. Look in the garbage with houses that are renovating. The ones with the panels are only good for holding flat tools on the table (ex. pencils). Solid core doors could stand alot of heavy duty pounding.Stores pretty easily when out of use. Other uses for the solid doors include work platforms. (ex. stand on it when working on ceiling).

I use two peices of plywood nothed in the center so the slide into each other and form a cross. You can make them any height you want up to 4' and the come apart easy for storage. 1/2" or 5/8" and I ask for the crappy busted corner sheets.

I've got a herd of barrels, a bit smaller than 55gal, I think they're 42 gallon or so. Perfect. And, great shop trashcans when not in body shop use.
