I'm making a list of things to buy for when I tear into my suspension/steering and one thing that I am considering is a product I found on Amazon called Chassis Saver. I believe it is similar to POR15, and it says it can be applied over rust. Is anyone familiar with this product? I noticed some rust on the radiator support when I was under there doing the tie rods, and some rust in a few other places which will probably multiply after driving on heavily salted roads a couple weeks ago. My fender liners/splash guards are completely shredded as well. Would using Chassis Saver or similar product and trying to track down some splash guards be worth the effort? This list is starting to get a bit long!

I used it on my 85 truck a few years ago. Very easy to brush on, goes a long way with very good coverage.
Before starting, I cleaned the the rusted surfaces with a brush and a quick wipe down. I used a quart for my truck.

Good to hear, I am hoping to stay ahead of any major rusting and this seemed like a better option than a rattle can. I had hit the control arms and the crossmembers with a wire brush to knock off the rust before using some Rustoleum back in the summer, today you couldn't even tell I had tried anything.
