Hi, My alternator seemed to gone bad since it didn't give any charge. I changed the alternator but still no charge. I checked all the fuses linked to alternator and they are good. It seems that the problem is that the alternator isn't getting signal that the car is on. The battery light in comb. meter doesn't turn on at all. Where should I look next to fix this problem?

You may have a burnt charging light bulb in the combination meter.

If the bulb is good.. the the best is to remove the Alt-S fuse and inspect the contacts, check other relevant fuses in the same manner. . Make sure alt-S sense wire is sending 12V signal to the alternator wire plug at the alternator. Use a test light attached to the ground and check at the wire plug for 12 V for alt-S signal wire.
