Gen 3 (Generation 3), considered the best, 4Runner for Sale:
1999 (that means it’s legally a ‘Classic’ and super cheap tags & insurance) Toyota 4Runner, pampered, loved, and well cared for. Accident Free, and a Clean Clear Title.
New alternator last month. New valve cover gasket recently, and new tires with probably less than 1,000 miles on them, with road side assistance and lifetime rotation and balancing.
New paint last month because I was planning to keep this forever and hand it down to my son, but I have a new project I am working on and will put the money towards it.
Original owner was here in Florida and ordered it with the under carriage sprayed with rust and corrosion protection, so the underside of it still looks amazing. Also, since ordered for Florida instead of Colorado or a northern state with lots of snow, they had the wisdom to order it in 2 wheel drive so it would weigh less, get better gas mileage, and have less maintenance and repair cost.
ICE COLD A/C, cruise control, push button over drive, keyless entry, auto 1 button push all the way up or all the way down on both the driver’s & passenger’s side front windows, and even the rear window in the liftgate goes all the way down at the push of a button or the keyless entry keyfob, great for easy loading and/or unloading.
At the time it was installed, this 4Runner has a $2,800 sound system including a Pioneer Avic in dash unit with Voice Command and Navigation, Touchscreen, MP3, AM/FM Radio, Satellite Radio ready, CD, DVD, iPhone & iPod connection (may need adapter for newer models), internal harddrive to store over 150 CD’s of music or MP3’s, high powered output AND a 1,000 AMP Amplifier and Blaupunkt Subwoofer in a Blaupunkt enclosure so you get FANTASTIC sound a bass hit without that annoying vibration you hear from cheaply done installations that make you want to laugh as they go vibrating by, sounding like their license plate is going to fall off. LOL!
Carefully & Professionally Maintained throughout its life, I only use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic High Performance Oil and instead of the cheap oil filters, I only use the Mobil 1 High Performance Full Synthetic Oil Filter for optimum protection and longevity. You could eat off the engine or engine compartment. Clean!
Instead of the “interference V6” that has a rubber timing belt that should be changed every 80,000 miles or can break or jump cogs resulting in pistons hitting the valves and a ruined engine, THIS is the legendary bullet proof Toyota 4 cylinder with the metal timing CHAIN that never has to be replaced and many have anywhere from 500,000 to over 1 million miles on them. That’s why it is considered “The Bullet Proof 4Runner”.
ALL receipts and maintenance records, and a very gentle 238,853 miles means that is almost finally broken in!
