Box from Spector on the counter when I got home tonight.
Decided to go ahead and do the rebuild even tho things usually go to s*** with
small projects like this.
Removed the winch (impact off the CO2 tank) about 5 minutes.
Unbolted the arm, wacked it with the pickle fork and it popped right off.
Took the lock bolt off the top, unscrewed the top, wacked the bottom of the cone and out it came. Had some trouble with the cone sleeve until I looked inside and saw the tab that locks it in place.
New sleeve in (greased), new seal on the bottom, new cone, new spring.
The hardest part was getting the top plate and the cover back on. Took awhile but finally got the threads started. Greased it all up, will thest drive tomorrow and tighten everything.
Pleasently, it was a pretty easy job.
Total time was about an hour.
