Canoe Trip

Its time to get an idea of how many want to go canoeing. We have a temporary reservation, but they will only hold the spot for a short time without some money. The dates are Aug. 3-5 at Shady Beach near Noel on the Elk River. We can have a group spot to camp. Costs are $30.00 for a canoe for a 8 mi. trip (4-6 hrs), $7.00 for each adult and $3.00 age 6-12 for tent camping, $2.50/day for electricity, and $22.00 for RVs (includes water and electricity) for 2 people with reg. camping charge for extra persons. We had a ball last year, but only a few people. Would like to see this grow, great family event. We will need a $10.00 deposit for canoes and $22.00 for anyone with and RV or camper. So how many are going????

I am going to be working some awful hours for the rest of the week so won't be able to get back to this until next week-end, so please don't think I am ignoring you!!!

I would love to go but alass am headin to Colorrado to do Mt Blanca, Independance, Iron Chest, Chinaman's, Carnage an ultamutly Holy Cross at the same dadgum time!

Since there are only four weeks until this proposed trip and the canoe place will not continue to hold our reservastion without some money, I am going to conclude that based on current response there is no interest in this event. Unless I here otherwise by next Fri. I will cancel our reservation.

[On the Farm]

I wanted to go, but we just got back from the BHCC. We're all tired and I am kinda glad that it was cancelled. Maybe next year we should schedule it on a date further from other events.
