Re-listed and priced to sell.

For sale is my Canadian 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ70 5spd diesel with 282K.

Frame and body in great shape. Interior looks virtually new, no rips, tears or stains. $6.7K put into body restoration at 262K. New tires and stereo in February 2008.

I have every record since the bill of sale. Mechanically, apart from a high idle*, everything seems to be in order. 4X4 in perfect working order.

I have lowered the price to sell quick. First $9,000.00 takes it (firm – I can't lower it anymore so please only serious buyers). At this price this truck is a steal.

I have numerous pictures that can be sent upon request.

* I have been advised that this is likely due to a perforated diaphragm (an easy, inexpensive fix as per FAQ's )

Just took this for a test drive - great condition. too bad, need the wagon or else this would be perfect.

Bump for you, this is an AWESOME example of a Canadian BJ70, I love your truck. The diaphram on the injector pump is an easy fix. This truck is worth more than 9000. So dont give it away

What kind of mileage do you get? And what is the importing logistics to the US?

This BJ70 now lives (and drives!!!) in PA

Alex and I made a deal suitable to both of us for this 70, it took awhile for the beauracracy to spit out the paperwork but the 70 is now legally licensed and insured in Pennsylvania. I'm getting to know and enjoy the truck and hope to do a writeup soon on the (legal) importation process and will say that with some patience and some money to spend a 70 can be legally brought into the US with no problems. My experience was pretty much glitch-free. I will say this- I have never spent as much money for anything without seeing it personally and this appears to be a good deal. Trucking costs these days are high, though!!!!!! I believe this may well end up being a story with a happy ending. Shmukster

Hi Shmukster - I am very interested to find out about your experience importing this 70 series (congratulations by the way). Can I send you an email or give you a ring? - Safari
