I am asking the trailer gods if this is worth the $50 to make it into a usable offroad trailer.
Wanting to fix it up to make it trail worthy.
New 16's, more clearance, etc...
Is it worth it or save up for something better?

black 48 inch X 34 inch trailer that is primarily used to pull behind a lawn tractor. It has the removable tailgate

Save up for a real trailer.

Or be prepared to put a real chassis under the bed.

Keep in mind that off road the trailer is going to be slamming down, making the mass of the trailer and its cargo even more damaging to lightweight frames, suspension, etc.

Yard trailers are made for max speeds of something like 10 mph. You can jack up the top rim of that trailer and drive something better underneath, but it'll cost you just as much to invest in a real trail-worthy trailer.:D
