Hi guys, attached is an image of the map light console. There are two clips that attach to the console, and a third clip that attaches to nothing. Can someone identify what the clip is for? Is it for power to a remote control? Does anyone know how I might be able to use that? I have a 2001 cruiser, so it doesn't have the remote control built in like the universal home link that is on the newer models. I was wondering if it would be possible to find a console at the junkyard for a newer model with the homelink and attach it and get it to work? Any thoughts?

looks like the door opner wiring----------on the lexus side the wires are lightblue/w/yellow trace and white/wblack trace(ground) blue wire goes to the dome lamp fuse,
send wire color i wil look in the books

yes, the wires are light blue with yellow and white with black. but it doesn't connect to anything. there's nothing to connect it to. at least not on my cruiser.

Does yours came with auto dimming center mirror? That might be the power plug for it.

no clue what it is but if you poke around any Cruiser long enough you will find lots of un-used harness connections

thats the correct opener wiring , blue/yellow goes to the domelamp fuse ,white/black to ground----------- a junkyard one if found will work off of that circut-----------it is not swiched by the key so any constant powered device will work ------fused at 10 amps------

interesting! Thanks for the info! I've got some interesting ideas as to how I might go about using this extra power source now...it'd be awesome if I could find one with a homelink/sunglass holder. But I"m not sure if the color schemes for the interior have changed over the years. The other thing I think might be a possibility is to use it as a power source for hooking up directly to a radar detector.
