Just finishing up with my engine and tranny install and I have this extra electrical plug and cant find the lead to save my life. Its the round smaller of the two male blue electrical plug in the bundle by the starter. I attached a picture (hope it works) I also did the FJ60 front end on my 62. Its really been fun and I hope to fire it up this weekend.

Thanks:beer:

MHTARSTON,
I checked mine, and it doesn't connect to anything. Its just hanging there
as well. Maybe future options on the harness?
Your truck is looking great1

btw, what condition are your 62 grill/headlight housings...I may be interested
if they are in good shape.

Mine does that also, I have wondered the same thing sometimes.

Old grill and radiator support are in good condition, no rust. the lower skirt does have a dent. All is good just 19 years of grime.

It may be for the reverse lights. It mates to a wire that comes off the top of the transmission. So your reverse lights come on when you put the transmission in reverse. Not so easy to see, you really have to crawl under there and try to look over the top of your transmission.

[Edit] Whoops, you're talking an FJ62 here? Mines an FJ60 with the manual transmission. They may still have similar wiring designs though.

What's the color of the wires connected to the plug??
It may be the NSS on the tranny.

Looks like yellow and white, but that plug only has about an inch of play coming out of the harness??
