So a few weeks ago I took my LX470 on probably its first offroad excursion ever. I had a great guide that helped me get some confidence in my vehicle (@forrest5000). I believe this is probably the most capable offroad vehicle I have ever owned after experiencing what its capable of.
Eric had his 80 series, my friend James brought is triple locked 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I brought my 2004 LX470 full of people and camping gear. Surprising my AHC did great in high mode even while loaded down.
Eric gave me some ideas about gear I needed to purchase. I need a faster way to air down, and to air back up. He graciously helped after he realized how under prepared I was.
I had a good crew in the car. My sister, my brother and his wife, and my faithful dog, Annie who has always been terrified of car rides. I think its safe to say she conquered her fear, and had a blast!
