Nope the rover guys gave me compliment after compliment. Yes they were teachers representing land rover but were very nice to me.

Yep, I did the Land Rover experience at the Biltmore last winter (in the snow!) and the LR instructors were very respectful of us LC owners. Its fun to drive the hell out of a LR you don't have to fix.
