I am having some issues with the 4 wheel drive on my Fj62 and I would like to come by and look at the system on yours and compair vacuum pressure to the vsv system to mine.

Shoot me a pm no rush. Got stuck and I had the surprise of no4 wheel drive this weekend

Mine sits in the driveway most of the time. You can come by almost any time and take a look.

I think it may be electrical, I need to compair to a working model. I want to figure it out myself, since I had it working I though last year after I got stuck in the Francis Marion.

more than likely a vacuum issue...

I am sooooo glad to have mechanical linkage, so much easier to trouble shoot. Hijack over.

The big blue had that system and it was solid I dont really see the advantage to the system in FJ62 since you would still get out and have to lock the hubs

Yes that is the trade off old tech is often easier to figure out when it's not working but it also usually takes more effort to operate in normal mode. Still I grew up locking the hubs and to tell the truth never have liked the full time types. But to each his own , good luck on sorting out your failure to lock the front axle: I find when mine doesn't pull it's uaually that I forgot to get out and lock the hubs. So have a good one. :)
