cable locker into a bj74

a couple of questions

just had a front diff out of a 60series cruiser given to me, it is a factory cable locked version in excellent cond. was wondering if i could run this in the rear diff of my bj74??

also if this was not to fit in my housing, wld the 60 series rear diff housing bolt up to my truck? i can get the rear diff but the diff head is gone from it.
