Aren't the seat frames the same to 1974?

Would like to pick this up for mine but want to double check, thanks.

They went to buckets in 73, so no the seat frames are not the same, the bench would go in the newer, but they are not very user friendly.......

Re-foamed I can't imagine they would suck any worse than the later-model factory buckets in there now... would they?

Oh.... if they are like the ones I have in my 45 you will need the tool box on the drivers side cause it sits on it.
not worth the effort in my opinion, .....you ought to sit in some prior to doing this.

I have the toolbox... don't know when I'll have the opportunity to sit in them, but I guess I can keep the current buckets in case it doesn't work out...

i've had a couple of sets of benches...i'm keeping them in my 45 since they're recovered and well padded (much more than the stock buckets i had in the lemon) and i won't be dd'ing the 45 , but i wouldn't run them in a daily driver...kinda sucks cornering when you find yourself in the passenger seat. guess i coulda slowed down, but that wouldn't have been any fun
