I'm no welder.. at least not yet... One of these hopefully I will be....

But anyway.. I have a vehicle now with no aftermarket support for a front bumper...

Right now I'm not sure if I'm planning on taking the vehicle in a more Rally/Pre-Runner direction or a 4wd/Crawler direction. It is IFS, solid rear axle, has a OME lift, and 32" tires...

I like the ARB bumpers.. especially the ones for the FJC and most recent 4runner. But I'm not sure if I would probably be better suited with a Tube bumper like the one All Pro makes for their Tacomas.

I'd like the bumper to be stout, however, not weigh too much as I don't want to "throw off" the balance/suspension of the vehicle which right now is great.

I want clearance, protection, and maybe room for a winch.

I'm looking at maybe seeing if I could "retrofit" an ARB bumper to fit it with some custom made brackets.. or just having a tube bumper made...

Your thoughts?
