Built a Free Gear & Trip Planning App for People Like Us (1 Viewer)

Hi all! I'm an outdoorsy New Englander, gear nerd, and the kind of person who spends way too much time trimming ounces off my pack. My girlfriend and I are always heading out on backpacking trips, and while I’m busy weighing gear, she’s usually forgetting hers (even with a checklist ). Over time, we realized we needed a better way to organize everything, not just our gear, but the trips, the pack weights, the costs, the photos… all of it.

So, I built something. It’s called Fethr, and it's a free app designed to help people like us manage outdoor gear and plan adventures. You can:

• Build and manage custom gear packs
• Track pack weight and costs
• Plan and log your trips (with maps, notes, and photos)
• Filter and sort trips or gear by type, season, etc.
• Customize units for weight, distance, elevation, and currency
• And with the next release, we’re adding a “Garage” to store all your gear in one master list

We’re not a company—we’re just two people trying to make outdoor planning easier and hoping others might find it useful too. There’s no account needed, no data tracking, and the core features are all free.
