Aaaand gone!

While I'm stoked that you blew them out it's a total bummer that there wasn't more of an interest.

I thought for sure that the air-tank-kit was going to be a Wits' End staple with the amount of interest that it initially generated.

Would you be willing to start a list and do a production run once you reach a certain number? from a fence sitter:doh:

Yeah I did too. I don't think its the lack of effort or commitment on my part. Sadly the fickleness of the 80 owners doesn't make for a very conducive business plan. But I love the 80s so I try and do what I can. Once I start losing money, especially if it sits on the shelf for sooo long, then I need to reconsider the product. Developing stuff for 5-10 people is honestly, just dumb on my part. Oh well :P

Well, as one of those 5-10 people I really do appreciate it!!

For such specially item like stuff by @NLXTACY everyone should treat it Costco seasonal items, if you are on the fence then buy it. Because it will be gone and you will kick yourself, AND if you decide you don't want it anymore then you can always find another fence sitter that is kicking himself for not buying.

You are a good man. Thanks for doing this and those fence sitters should know by now that there is not tons of money in these products, so when they are available, buy them!

J-

Take a cash deposit in advance. If someone changes their mind, you keep the deposit. No different with custom bumpers, etc.

People can’t expect you to front the loot for designing, prototyping, production without adding their stake in the game. Just my .02.

I spoke to you on the phone the other day regarding this kit. Hoping there may be a few others who are also in need of your product.

Hoping that there may be a good amount of people who will chime in. Maybe you can be convinced to make another run of these...

Please let me know if you do decide to make another batch of these kits.

Put me on the list, get 20 of us and once a list of 20 is made, we all throw in, $200 non-refundable. Final payment before shipping.

After plenty of consideration I’ve decided to start another run.

For this production run of the York OBA mounting kit, I figured it was time to pull together all the little installation bits and make all the adjustments needed. All small things but all of them add up to a better all around product. A lot of extra effort is going into this run. I’m not just resting on my laurels.

The gauge block is for the welder to test fitment and flatness of the bracket AFTER welding. The PVC proxy is for the welder to make final measurements to be sure everything is exactly where the pieces should be.

For those considering the 1FZ turbo kit, don’t stress it because the turbo is designed with the York OBA in mind.

Both the cost of the pulley and the cost of the bracket went up thanks to the new tariffs. Sorry, zero I can do about it. :(

Butt post

I ponied up for one of the original brakets, pullies, tank and other paraphernalia to make this work. I'm gonna say this is the most used mod I have done to my wagon. Most off roading in Florida requires you air down which is easy but getting back to road pressures now takes less than 2mins per corner. Then there is the guy behind me. My OBA solition is almost silent not like the chaps running compressors. I run everything fron power tools to pumping up Inflatable mattresses and the like. If I you were on the fence about a mod now is the time to jump and get this complete setup.
