#53 Broke going to the LPV on my Fj62. This is a very long line. I dont have a pipe binder. Do you think I should just get one from Toyota or I should have a local hose and pipe company ie gardner and webb, charleston gasket and hose make me one.

The line I est is atlest 5ft long. I could graft a new line on but the entire line needs to go.

If you can find the right length, I would just buy the line and replace it.
Most of the auto parts sell them, they bend easily by hand.

Brake bending kits are pretty cheap and alot also have the flaring kit in it. the kit comes in very useful having it and I keep one in my recovery box with extra line. I would suggest a bending kit if you are going to do bends over 45 deg. or tight bends are the worse because of kinking the line and making the line worthless.

I've got the double flaring kit also, but you can usually find the close to the same length.

You can get a cheap bender through Sears, Northern Tool or Harbor Fright - looks like a pair of pliers with a wheel and bending arm on the business end. The double flaring kit is a bit of an investment though - I think mine was close to $50-60 (Craftsman).

found this type that's even cheaper:

I went ahead and bought the pre bent lines from Toyota. The part stores did not have the metric length that I needed. I am also an expert brake line kinker so I try to avoid that business on long lines. I think both of the lines are like 5 feet long.

Thanks for the input. I will let you know if I crash and burn.
