Well Gang prolly be late May before we can get up in there with out much snow right now that mountain range is pure white hehe so well keep our eyes open and keep everyone posted on the conditions of the trail we will prolly attempt a pre run before hand so we have accurate info

Dan

Let me know when you make a run out there Dan. Maybe I can tag along and check it out too.

ok Mark will do prolly wont be until around the first part of May in that area but will let you know for sure

It was a great day at Bolivia. The first big rock has not changed much.

The second waterfall had a lot of water running. it has changed quite a bit and it appears a quad has made it up the loose dirt and gravel to the right of the waterfall.

As far as making it all the way over the Mountain - it looks like there is still a little snow on the very top, so I suspect it may still be quite muddy too.

Dan, if you go on May 8th, give me a call.

Looks like a lot of fun. I am hoping my truck will be ready by then. Robbie is coming out to Bay Area in May and I am having my headgasket done along with other items as well. Being that I am the last on the list, not sure when he will be getting to mine.

I think I found the link to the club that went to Bolivia/Steamshovel April 24th.

HDOR4X4.COM - Home

I was there on the April 26th, and all I saw as I walked up the trail above the first big rock was quad tracks. From the looks of it this group was scouting it out and it looks like they did Steamshovel Trail.

Looks like the group has some nice rigs. I see they have a Fallon address but an out of the area phone number.

Fallon Dan or John - Do you know any of these fellas?

looks like they did go up Bolivia but they didnt go any farther than the first rock accept on the quads.they were in Jeeps thats why they had to winch up the big rock if you Remember we had to help Alberts built Jeep up that rock as well because he was so light in the front end. And it doesnt look like they even tried it first before getting the winch out. I recognize some of the rigs and know the guy with the scout thats about it. Cant wait till next weekend its gonna be ablast

Sorry Jack no pics of the carnage but i can tell you this the Tie rod looked like a bow saw for abit had to you use the 40 and my tow strap to straighten it enough to continue on but other than that dripyy did good for being open/open. will be fixing that as well hehe
