Hey guys,

Can any if you refer me to a decent body shop around Tulsa? I just deflared my 80 and want to get it patched up and painted, but I haven't had any luck finding shops willing to take on the project. I don't particularly want to use liner as I like the clean looks of the original body, but I have no idea how to weld or do body work. If any if you guys know how to do this, I'll gladly pay you for your time + beers.

Thanks

Might talk to Mike at Accent. They're Cruiser guys.

Akirilo had a guy in Sand Springs weld his LX and they looked good, even before he lined.

It's time consuming, especially for paintable job, so be prepared for the expense. If memory serves, there's 36 holes on an 80....162 on an LX450, so consider yourself lucky there.

Mine look like crap, but originally planned to line. Having battled rust on older Cruisers, I don't want to compound future issues, so back to painting, but have a lot of rework to do before.

Thanks D, I'll keep that in mind. I apologize for my lack of knowledge here, but is it possible to have the liner color matched prior to application? Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

You can get pretty close, according to the Monsterliner thread in "Paint and Body", but don't think it's a perfect match.

Honestly, they don't look that bad two tone, especially on the 80 where the lines don't have to be as high.
