So I'm just starting to delve into this area.

Bought a cheapie BT OBD sensor off Amazon and my GROM VLine picked it up no problem.

I have been researching OBD app that can display on the unit and OBD Fusion seems to be one of the better apps.
I did notice they have a Toyota Enhanced Module ($79)

And it lists a bunch of things like power mirror and driver seat controls....

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this. Youtube doesnt seem to have any review of this module. And I wonder how similar if at all it is to TechStream...

What BT ODB sensor did you get? Asking because I got the ODBLink MX+ and their ODBLink software that is free looks exactly like all the screen shots I have seen of ODB Fusion and their Toyota add-on package was free. Might be an option worth trying…

I got a sub $15.00 one called veepeak

Looks pretty cool….

Will have to mess around with it some more.

Hi 82SC,
Because I like technology, your post piqued my interest in two ways.

1. I had not heard of Grom V-line. Wow. Cool! In looking it up, their web site only has Android Auto. Yet your photo looks like an IPhone. Is my hope making me see a mirage or does this work with an iPhone too?

2. Why do you have the OBD sensor? Is it useful or just a fun toy? (I worry this sounds rude but I don’t mean it that way. I’m genuinely curious). What do you use it for that the standard gauges on the LC don’t already cover?

What phone mount is that? Do they make a version for the LC? I'm looking for something that doesn't block my vents.

1. It is essentially an android tablet displaying on your LC screen. It is compatible with iOS and android. Wireless or wired CarPlay both work. See my GROM owners thread for details.

2. Yes it’s a Bluetooth OBD sensor that connects to GROM and can make adjustments there. Right now it is a toy. I bought it so that I can troubleshoot on the trail or on a long road trip. Look up and manage trouble codes again when I’m on a long distance trip. Monitor different temp sensors besides oil and coolant.

Cool. Thanks! I’ll look up your thread.
