New to the Montgomery County/Damascus area. Blew a head gasket on a 2006 V6 4Runner with 130K about 8 weeks ago. I used Steel Seal and it worked for a bit but is no longer doing its thing. I hit a deer 2 weeks ago and need to work with insurance company to take it to a regional repair facility in vicinity of Germantown/Gaithersburg for the damage to be repaired and figured I can get the head gasket fixed too. I am looking for a reputable location to get the head gasket fixed outside of a dealership where the price may be a bit more reasonable and the problem is fixed right the first time. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
