BLM EXTENDS COMMENT PERIOD FOR HAVASU TRAVEL MANAGEMENT PLANNING - UPDATE
Dear BRC members, supporters and action alert subscribers,
Here is an update to a Land Use Update we sent out on October 28th, announcing that the Arizona Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has extended the comment period for the Havasu Travel Management Plan again.
Bruce Spiers, President of the Havasu 4 Wheelers (www.havasu4wheelers.org), emailed some important information we wanted to get out to all our Arizona Alert subscribers.
I have pasted the information below; please take a minute to read it over.
Please pass this on to your friends, family and anyone who you think might be able to help.
Thanks in advance for your involvement,

RE: BLM extends Havasu comment period
The BLM Lake Havasu Field Office has agreed to consider trails (routes) that can be proven to have existed on or before May 10, 2007 for possible inclusion into the route inventory. People may submit this information to the BLM with a trail map with GPS coordinates. Proof the trail (route) existed on or before May 10, 2007 may be verified by Google earth (Havasu satellite imagery is dated June 2007), dated, published maps or other viable & verifiable information. The BLM will then review the information. A comment letter explaining the missing trails (routes) should accompany the maps.

Ric,
Got this from Darryld. This is important so maybe you could do an updated announcement when possible.
